Dr. Michael Gentry, Owner

Dr. Michael Gentry is a graduate of Central High School in Martinsburg PA. He attended Penn State University and graduated with a bachelors in Science and Kinesiology. Afterwards, he attended Saint Francis University where he was accredited with a Masters in Physical therapy. Michael later went on for his Manual Therapy Certification and then Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the prestigious University of Saint Augustine in Florida. He currently resides in Duncansville with his wife Brandi Gentry who is also a physical therapist

Dr. Michael Gentry, Owner

 

Dr. Michael Gentry, PT, DPT, MTC is the owner and CEO of MLPT.  He is a Roaring Spring native and a 1991 graduate of Central High School.  He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine and is Manual Therapy Certified (MTC). Mike is also a veteran of the US Army.

Dr. Gentry resides in Duncansville with his wife Brandi and four children.   He enjoys trail running, hunting, fishing, boating,  hiking, and playing sports with his kids.  Mike is a member of the First Church of Christ in Altoona. 
 

Dr. Joseph Scanlan, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Joseph Scanlan, PT, DPT is a graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He now lives in Duncansville with his wife, a fellow PT. Joe graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Health Science, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. Joe has completed the coursework for his Manual Therapy Certification and will have this completed within the year. Joe’s physical therapy areas of interest include orthopedics, manual therapy and spine conditions. He likes to stay active when not working by playing sports, cycling, traveling and camping.

Dr. Nathaniel Barr, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Nathaniel Barr, PT, DPT is a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School, hailing from Davidsville. He graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Francis University in 2011. He has completed his necessary coursework for his Manual Therapy Certification and will have finished the certification within the year. Areas of interest within PT include manual therapy, spine conditions and knee injuries. Outside the clinic Nate passes his time with interests in fitness and music, particularly playing the guitar.

Dr. Clay Dodson, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Clay Dodson, PT, DPT is a graduate of Northern Bedford High School, currently residing in Roaring Spring. He achieved a Bachelors of Health Science in 2013, then his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Saint Francis. Clay is currently working to achieve his Manual Therapy Certification. His interests within PT include orthopedics and manual therapy. Clay spends his free time outdoors; hunting, fishing, playing sports and spending time with friends.

Dr. Camden Gentry, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Camden Gentry, PT, DPT is a graduate of Central High School. He currently resides in Duncansville. Camden earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Gannon University in Erie, PA. He then went on to study at the University of Saint Augustine in Florida where he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Camden became Manual Therapy Certified in 2016. Camden obtained his certification in Ergonomic Assessments in 2017. Some of his areas of interest include the neck, spine and joint manipulation. In Camden’s spare time he enjoys playing team sports, hunting and fly-fishing the local trout waters.

Dr. Brittany Gentry, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Brittany Gentry, PT, DPT is a graduate of Everett High School, where she still resides. She went on to obtain her Bachelor’s in Health Science degree from Saint
Francis in 2014. Brittany continued on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016. Some of her favorite aspects of PT include manual therapy, orthopedics and running/gait analysis. Outside the clinic, she is always on the go. Brittany is an avid runner, cyclist, and helps at the Bedford Meadows location with her parents Mike and Kathy.

Dr. Brittany Sponsler, PT, DPT

 

Dr. Brittany Sponsler PT, DPT, ITPT, CLT  holds a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Francis University. She has experience treating a broad range of conditions to include work-related injuries, sports injuries, joint replacements, and auto accidents. She is a highly skilled physical therapist, holding certifications in both lymphatic drainage (CLT) and concussion treatment (ITPT).  Additionally, Brittany is working towards the Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences which broadens her scope of treatment to include joint manipulation and high-level stabilization exercise. 

She is also actively involved in the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA PA).  She holds two offices to include, the West Central District Membership Committee Chair and Membership Committee co-Chair for the PA division of the APTA.

Britt is a resident of Portage, PA along with her boyfriend.  They are the proud parents of a Newfoundland Poodle named Max.  She enjoys reading, hiking, walking with her dog, and baking. She is known for being thorough and empathetic to patients under her care.

Naomi Greenawalt, PTA

 

Naomi Greenawalt is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Bedford. She attended Allegany College of Maryland, graduating with her PTA degree in 2008. In the clinic Naomi enjoys the social aspect that PT includes, as we spend extensive time with each patient and get to know them on a personal level. When not treating, she enjoys being outside, traveling and spending time with her two children.

Heather Christiana, PTA

Heather Christiana is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Bedford. She graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2011. Heather enjoys the variety that comes with seeing the multitude of conditions we treat at Mile Level Physical Therapy. In her spare time, she is very passionate about fitness, muscle & performance cars, and her pets.

Sandi Smith, PTA

 

Sandi Smith graduated from Mount Aloysius College with her PTA degree in 2000. With over 20 years of experience, Smith's dedication to the profession speaks for itself. Driven by her upbringing on her family farm, Smith has a strong work ethic and is committed to providing the best treatment possible for her patients. When not at work, Smith is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She relishes kayaking, running, biking and hiking with her husband and three children.

Heather McCully, PTA

Heather R McCully is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from Mount Aloysius in 2017. She recently became certified in Lymphedema Therapy(CLT) and serves as our lead Patient Care Representative (PCR). Heather is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Health Science online at Mount Aloysius. When she is not at work or studying she enjoys being with friends and family.

Lindsay Bell, PTA

 

Lindsay Bell is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Saxton. She graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 2018. She enjoys that this line of work allows her to get to know her patients well during their course of treatment. Lindsay also appreciates the variety of conditions seen in the outpatient setting. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Alexa Beegle, PTA

 

Alexa Beegle is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from Everett, PA. She graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2018 and began her career in the outpatient setting. She enjoys working with patients one on one while utilizing the manual therapy techniques that Mile Level specializes in. In her free time she loves focusing on her physical fitness and spending time with family and friends

Lora Meck, PTA

Lora Meck is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from James Creek.
She attended Penn State Mont Alto graduating with her PTA degree in
2018. Lora enjoys the outpatient clinic setting getting to work with a
variety of age groups and diagnoses. In her spare time Lora enjoys
spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about her
pets and enjoys hiking, kayaking and riding her horse.
